UNITED WAY SEEKS GRANT APPLICATIONS.

 BLOOMSBURG – The United Way of Columbia County is now accepting proposals to fund projects that show cooperation among community organizations. The funding comes from the United Way’s Community Fund.

A letter outlining the project should be sent to the United Way.

If judged appropriate by the Community Fund Committee, a full application will be forwarded to the organization seeking funds. The application asks for a detailed description of the program and a budget showing the contributions from the community partners.

Applications will be accepted until August 31, 2008 at five o’clock PM.

Grants will be awarded by the United Way Board at its meeting in late September, and applicants will be notified by
September 15, 2007.
